JPB Industry provides best-in-class pillow packaging machines, as well as complete turnkey lines, via its in-house development, design, manufacture and test resources.
Pillow Packaging Machines are based on a very innovative co-extrusion process which can be described as a “continuous wrapping process”, producing pillows of PSA, protected by a miscible coating.
This new process greatly facilitates handling and transportation to adhesive manufacturers, while allowing direct use and easier application to their customers since the protector and the adhesive are compatible.
Technically, the hot adhesive goes through a nozzle, is wrapped continuously within a protective miscible coating, and then pinched in pillows of 30 to 1000 grams depending on the capacity of the machine. Next, the pillows are gradually cooled in water, ventilated and finally placed in cardboard box for shipping.
JPB Industry offers six (6) standards co-extrusion machines which can accommodate from 250 to 1500 kg / hour (550to 3300 lbs. / hour) of PSA, non PSA or tacky products. The corresponding pillows capacity runs from 30 gr to 1000 gr (1.06 once to 2.20 lbs.).
Machines’ dimensions rank from 10 to 30 meters per 2 meter width and can be customized with many options, such as a water plate exchanger, a screen filter, a DASS control, an automatic internet connection, etc... , aiming to further improve your operator productivity.
Last but not least, assembly and tests are achieved in the JPB Industry facilities, prior to shipment while installation, commissioning and training are implemented at your site, by a JPB Industry’ team.
